All of us had crushes way back when we were teens, oggling at those god-like beauties with their incredible physiques and gorgeous faces. Now that we are all grown up, do you still think the same when you have a crush or admire someone? That they are way over your league? Well, it’s time to change that mode of thinking, everyone deserves a chance with their ideal match.

There’s always that little voice saying, “What if I just went for it?” And you know what they say, that there’s no other question more haunting than that of the “what-if’s.”

So instead of dwelling in the “what-ifs,” why not do something about it?

The first thing that you can do is to open your eyes and see your crush as who they are. This “perfect” ideal match of yours probably has tons of flaws and that you are just too blindly infatuated to actually see it. Bear in mind- nobody is perfect. Your crush before wasn’t as perfect as you may have thought and your crush now is not as perfect either. The perfect person doesn’t exist in reality, but they do but only in our minds.

We have to realise whether the perfect person lives only in our minds; however, love can make the imperfect person seem perfect. Love is bigger than anything else in this world, and it can make the most imperfect person, perfect in our eyes. Remember that you’ve got things going for you too! Never think that “someone like you” doesn’t deserve to be with “someone like them.” That mentality is not good. You’re a great person. You just need to remind yourself of that fact. No one is “too good” for you, because if you feel that you are the best, then you deserve the best too. But don’t take this as a right to “boast” about yourself. Remind yourself of all the great things that you have, that has attracted others. For instance, we have a physical quality that we think is our best; like our expressive eyes, pouty lips, cute nose, etc. enhance that, it will boost your confidence. Look at the best quality about yourself that you feel is attractive. Like a good sense of humor or a logical and stable mind; the ability to tell Beethoven and Mozart apart, etc.

Like what we said earlier, your ideal match is still human; they hurt,, have flaws, they feel. Sometimes, you maybe too infatuated to notice or delve in more. The truth is, your crush it just looking for someone to accept them as who they are and including the flaws of course. And if you truly care and accept them, then you might be the one they are looking for. You might be surprised at how the odds would work out FOR you, and not against you.
